Hello,

Is it possible to use the SNMP Symbolic Name instead OID's?
OID's are not very helpful - it takes hours to find the correct values for bringing your devices into the monitoring system.

thx

Hi screenie,

In new version Pandora FMS 3.2 you can do a massive operation with SNMP that discovers all devices and interfaces by name instead of by OID. You can find this feature in Modules->Massive->SNMP Modules creation.

I hope it was helpful.

Sorry my jobmate talked about a Enterprise feature.

In the Pandora FMS open version haven't a massive operation for SNMP.

Sorry.
