Pandora FMS v3.0 RC1 has been released. This is a major upgrade from 2.0 version and includes a lot of new features and a surprising performance boost. This version is a Release-Candidate, this is similar to a beta version, but with months of testing done.

This includes a new installation CD (Software appliance based on OpenSUSE11), an vmware/VirtualBox image, RPM packages, Windows Installer, Source Tarballs and a 360-page user manual in PDF.

ArticaST Pandora FMS developers, including myself will be attending an ArticaST stand in CEBIT 2009 (Hannover, Germany) in hall 11, stand C20, where we will be showing our new features for the next version of Pandora FMS: v3.0.

We’re also thinking about having a technical semminar in the CeBIT to introduce our new version to our own users, which is a good time to get a few people together who will be at the CeBIT to discuss the new advanced topics in Pandora FMS 3.0.
